In a gastronomic city such as Tucson, you’ll find a lot of Michelada variations.
Miche-what? In case you didn’t know, a Michelada is basically a Bloody Mary, however beer is used in lieu of vodka and is still just as delicious if not more so.
Now that you’re up to speed on what a Michelada is, come try a few this weekend at the 3rd Annual Tucson Michelada Challenge. Trust me, this is a challenge you’ll want to take.
The region’s best bartenders will compete to prove who makes the best Michelada in Tucson and lucky you get to be the judge. There will be Micheladas, air conditioning, music, air conditioning, chips and salsa, tons of fun, and did I mention you’ll be in the air conditioned exhibition hall at the Tucson Convention Center?
General Admission price is $22 in advance and $27 at the door (if not sold out). This includes all the Michelada samples your tastebuds can handle, plus chips and salsa.
VIP Admission price is $52 in advance and $72 at the door (if not sold out) which includes all of the above, plus designated prime seating, meal ticket, souvenir, and free raffle tickets.
Get your tickets here or avoid the Ticketmaster fee and call (520) 791-4101.
See you there!
