Ever heard of that little beer festival called Oktoberfest? Well, according to Bravo TV, Tucson’s Agave Heritage Festival is right on par with the well-known German booze festival, and we agree!
Back in February, Bravo TV named the Agave Heritage Festival one of “7 Boozy Festivals Around the World.” Alongside an Italian wine festival, a Southern U.S. whiskey extravaganza, and London’s Prosecco Festival, the Agave Heritage Festival was named as one of the best festivals to “pick your poison.” Bravo TV said, “At the Agave Heritage Fest in Tucson, in its ninth year, look for a week celebrating the distillates of the agave plant. That’s not just tequila, but also sotol, bacanora, mezcal, and more. Tucson has an international connection as UNESCO’s first American City of Gastronomy, something that is explored through seminars, tastings, dinners, brunches, concerts, and more.”
This year’s Agave Heritage Fetival will last from April 28-May 7. Agave Heritage Festival is basically a boozy festival comparable to Oktoberfest (minus the beer, plus the agave) right in your own backyard.
