What: Cacti Oasis: Solo Art Show by Adela Antoinette
When: Saturday, March 11, from 7:00-11:00pm
Where: Crooked Tooth Brewing Co., 228 E 6th St. Tucson, AZ 85705
If you have admired the colorful illustrations of root vegetables, pirate worms, and rotting-yet-somehow-beautiful compost in recent issues of Edible Baja Arizona, you’ve admired the incredible work of local artist Adela Antoinette. Lucky for us, Antoinette is giving admirers the opportunity to view and purchase a collection of her work titled Cacti Oasis, a body of work inspired by Tucson’s Armory Park gardens, Tucson Botanical Gardens, and the surrounding desert. The solo art show will give attendees the opportunity to purchase Antoinette’s desert-inspired watercolor and acrylic paintings and support her talents.
And, because art and beer go so well together, the show will be hosted at Crooked Tooth Brewing Co., one of Tucson’s newest craft breweries. Use the money you save on admittance (it’s free!) to savor local craft beer, buy a piece of local art, and support your community. See you there!
