Whether you’re a longtime fan of Arizona citrus or a newbie to these desert jewels, the three day Citrus Jubilee at the Heirloom Farmers Markets this weekend is sure to be a delight! Take one, two, or three days to marvel in the wide variety of locally grown lemons, oranges, grapefruits, tangelos and kumquats grown by local farmers in Southern Arizona.
The three day event will feature “locally grown citrus and citrus food specialties and deals” along with live music by The Fourth Street Stringband (Saturday at the Oro Valley Market) and R. Carlos Nakai and Friends (Sunday at the Rillito Park Farmers Market). Watch chef demonstrations, grab lunch from one of the many local food trucks that will be there, and fill your fridge and pantry with all things citrus!
