‘Tis the season of hosting fabulous parties! Be sure to stand out this holiday season with your cocktail- drinking making skills. The bartenders at 47 Scott/Scott & Co. are hosting a brand new series of demos that allows you to sample your way through the five essential eras of “cocktail-dom.”

Each class is only $25 plus tax (tip included), and includes a seminar, demo, explanation of the spirits used, light snacks, and samples of up to 10 cocktails.

Classes include:

The OriginalsThe drinks that everyone should try, know, and love.
Sample the Mojito, Tom Collins, Classic Daiquiri, Whisky Smash, Philadelphia Fish-House Punch, Japanese Cocktail, Sherry Cobbler, Martinez, Manhattan, Sazerac.
November 18, 4:30-6 p.m.
The Golden Era: Covering the boozy late-19th & early-20th centuries.
Sample the Paloma, Floradora, Star Daisy, Brown Derby, Aviation, Creole, Tipperary, Bamboo, Bobby Burns, Bijou.
November 25, 4:30-6 p.m.
The ExpatsProhibition-era cocktails created when the party left America.
Sample the Bee’s Knees, Pisco Sour, French 75, Pink Lady, Pegu Club, Hemingway Daiquiri, Tequila Sunset, Boulevardier, Negroni, Tangier Nights.
December 2, 4:30-6 p.m.
Tiki: Everyone’s favorite party drinks.
Sample the Hotel Nacional Especial, Cameron’s Kick, Corpse Reviver #2, Singapore Sling, Suffering Bastard, Mai Tai Saint House, Jungle Bird.
December 9, 4:30-6 p.m.
Rediscovered Vintage & Modern ClassicsSome old, some new, all delicious.
Sample the Grasshopper, Sidecar, Margarita, Vesper, Last Word, Paper Plane, Oaxaca Old Fashioned, Rosita, Toronto, Vieux Carre.
December 16, 4:30-6 p.m.
