August 2, 2016

Upcoming Events

What: Desert Cooking Camp
When: Saturday, August 6th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Where: Loews Ventana Canyon, 7000 N. Resort Dr., Tucson, AZ 85750

As a really fun alternative to Saturday morning cartoons or brunch, why not spend the early part of your afternoon alongside top-notch chefs at one of the Old Pueblo’s most luxurious and scenic resorts? You’ll forage, harvest and prepare four seasonal and local ingredients: Prickly Pear, Saguaro, Barrel Cactus, and Mesquite Pods.

Prepare to feel like an ultimate chef when you get to enter the kitchen and learn from some of the best. Maybe I’ve been watching too much Master Chef lately, but this sounds incredible! Follow the events’ Facebook page here to stay up-to-date.

The cost for this camp is $45.

Call 520-299-2020 ext. 5107 to make a reservation.
