El Tambó Fest! Música Tropical in the Borderlands

Join Hotel Congress for a night of dancing, music, and mezcal.

March 29, 2017

Upcoming Events

What: El Tambó Fest! Música Tropical in the Borderlands
Friday, March 31, from 07:00pm to 2:00am
Mezcal Happy Hour from 07:00pm to 09:00pm
Where: Hotel Congress, 11 E Congress St, Tucson, Arizona 85701

I enjoy making suggestions for Friday night plans so if you’re free this week, might I suggest making your way downtown to Hotel Congress for a night of mezcal, dancing, and culture?

There will be a happy hour from 7-9pm, where the first 500 ticket holders will receive a complimentary mezcal tasting and be serenaded by the likes of:

  • DJ Q
  • Toltech (El Tambó)
  • Bob Diaz (KXCI)
  • Lingos (Body Yo Mindz)
  • Spoken word by Logan Dirtyverbs

BK’s, as well as other artisans and vendors, will be onsite to help wash down the mezcal.

Your $10 ticket (which can be purchased here) will also include admission to Tambo Fest. Tambo Fest will feature live music by La Misa Negra, Vox Urbana, and Bidi Bidi Banda. Judging by their past events in California, this is going to be one heck of a way to spend a Friday night. Between the mezcal, food and artisan vendors, and the fun music, you may just make it until 2am and not want to leave!
