Explore Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage, one of North America’s largest EcoVillages, during the annual celebratory event — the Earth Harmony Festival!
Throughout the 2-days of this exciting and educational event, festival-goers enjoy live music, speakers and tours of our uniquely designed residential center and surrounding organic gardens. See the future in action during presentations of sustainable living practices such as permaculture, organic gardening, seed-saving, composting, rain and grey water-harvesting, eco-building projects, Arizona’s largest food forest system, solar and wind power, the workings of a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and more.
The Earth Harmony Festival is always all-ages, with speakers and live music that offer higher-consciousness messages not to be missed by young or old. An interactive children’s village, pony rides, and guided arts and crafts round out the many offerings for the young, or the young-at-heart.
Live music for the festival is provided by Global Change Music Nonprofit Record Label featuring TaliasVan & The Bright & Morning Star Band performing CosmoPop® (spiritual vocal music that addresses the sufferings of our times and gives hope for a better world to come™ ) VansGuard, Starseed Acoustic Ensemble, and Israfel Awakened.
The Earth Harmony Festival showcases local crafters and artisans in a Locavore’s Vendor Village. Past vendors have included exquisite handmade jewelry, gourmet foods, tie-dyed clothing, and indigenous textiles, to name just a few. Educational booths offer information on how to integrate sustainable practices featured at the festival into participants’ own lives and communities.
All activities throughout the festival are by donation to go towards supporting agricultural internships offered by Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage, the Homeless Is Not My Choice ministry, and the Personality Integration Rehabilitation Program. Low-cost overnight camping is also available!
We hope you will join us for this one-of-a-kind gathering to imagine, build, and fuel the future!
Held at Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage. 2074 Pendleton Dr., Tumacacori, AZ. For more information call (520) 398-2542 or visit http://earthharmonyfestival.org
