The wonderful community garden project outside of the Joel D Valdez Main Library was started in 2012 as a way to re-energize & beautify Jacome Plaza with publicly accessible decorative & edible garden spaces for people the eat from, engage with, and enjoy.

We are looking for volunteers with varying degrees of gardening know-how (from beginners to experts) to help us spruce up the planters and plant new seeds from the Seed Library.

You can also learn how you can adopt a planter as your very own garden.
