What: Kids Class! Holiday treats for Giving and Eating
When: Saturday, December 10th 11:00am to 1:00pm
Where: The Carriage House, 125 South Arizona Avenue Tucson, AZ 85701
The holidays are all about eating, drinking & being merry. Of course it’s not easy to be merry after all the eating and drinking is done and you have to clean up (and the kids are nowhere to be found) so The Carriage House is here to help. This weekend, you’ll be able to leave Santa some cookies will make him want to come back for more – and most importantly, you won’t be the one doing the baking!
Join the The Carriage House for their first ever kids cooking class! If you’ve ever had the opportunity to join The Carriage House at one of their demonstration and cooking classes, then you’re aware of the caliber that they like to put together and this class is no exception.
Chefs Ashley Chen and Devon Sanner will be leading this fun-filled, interactive class. Chef Chen is a pastry chef, culinary instructor and baking and pastry consultant with 15 years of experience. She did some of her studying here locally at Pima Community College and then flew the coup to live and study in New York.
You couldn’t ask for a better teacher to take your children through this fun culinary journey. Students will be making candy cane white chocolate hearts and truffles, cupcakes in mason jars, and more. There will be gifts that the students can take home. Who doesn’t love a child’s hand-crafted goodies as gifts?!
This is available to children 8-14 years of age, and children must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $40 per child.
