What: Pivot Produce Local Food Celebration
When: Sunday, December 4th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm
Where: Pueblo Vida Brewing Co., 115 E Broadway Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85701
One way to #golocal this holiday season is by supporting Pivot Produce and their $20,000 funding goal. Reaching the $20,000 mark would not only make it possible for Pivot Produce to update their transportation, warehouse space, and refrigeration needs, it would also make them eligible to apply for the USDA’s Local Food Promotion Grant. This grant would quadruple the funds raised in the campaign and also give Pivot Produce Founder, Erik Stanford, access to a network of local food entrepreneurs across the country.
Join the party and help make one last final push towards Pivot’s crowdfunding efforts, and see for yourself how successful Pivot is at joining together local farms and restaurants. The focus of this event will be on some truly delightful and local food prepared by Welcome Diner, The Carriage House, 5 Points Market & Restaurant, and the EXO Roast Co. Kitchen. Each restaurant participating in the event will serve hors d’oeuvres that showcase the regional, seasonal produce that Stanford offers with his unique local produce distribution business.
You’ll come for the food and stay for the beer! Pueblo Vida will be serving up a special beet-infused take on their flagship PV Pale Ale brew (sounds healthy!). A portion of each pint sold of this super limited-release beer will go directly into the final fundraising efforts for Pivot. Katterwaul’s Brittany Katter will be providing the evening’s musical accompaniment with a live solo set.
See you there!
