website and exciting 7-course dinners.

What: Pop-Up Tucson One Year Anniversary Party
When: August 19th and 20th at 6:00pm
Where: Secret location to be revealed 48 hours before the event

I’m sure by now you all know that we’re a big fan of birthday parties and anniversaries around here. So, it’s no surprise that we’re excited to celebrate the one year anniversary of Pop-Up Tucson! The two-day event and will feature a menu put together and prepared by Chefs Riley Chandler and Kyle Nottingham. The menu will include wine pairings and hors d’oeuvres ranging from vegetarian plates to exotic meats. Tickets to the event are $50 per person, and you can buy tickets for either day of the event on the new Pop-Up Tucson website here.

While you’re on the new website, feel free to peruse and save the dates for the upcoming dinners:

  • Dinner + Movie, Friday, August 11th – Chef Riley Chandler and Chef Robert Villasenor are hosting a 5-course menu inspired by The Godfather. Your ticket will include dinner + wine, pairings, and tickets to the screening of the film afterwards at the ATC Temple of Music and Art.

MENU (usually released 48 hours before the dinner)

I. Chef’s Board
Thistle meats | Italian cheeses | olives | artichoke | asparagus | pistachios | roasted red pepper

II. Vito’s Garden
Three tomatoes, three ways | Sicilian peppers | garden herbs

III. The Sicilian Message
Parchment-baked sole | zucchini caper sauce | fennel | baby carrots | broccolini

IV. Best Veal in the City
Veal Marsala | spinach risotto | porcini pancetta garnish | fried basil

V. Leave the gun, take the Cannoli”
Cannoli with drizzled chocolate

  •  7-course Pop-Up dinner October 28th OR 29th
  •  7-course Pop-Up dinner November 18th OR 19th
  • 7-course Pop-Up dinner December 13th OR 14th

And FYI: if you’re committed to going to ALL of Pop-Up Tucson’s 7-course dinners, you can purchase a “season pass” of sorts, which in my humble opinion is the best kind of season pass.
