DOWNTOWN Kitchen + Cocktails is back at it! As part of the fourth and final stop in their Around the Globe: Cities of Gastronomy extravaganza, DOWNTOWN Kitchen invites you to take your palate on a road trip to Tucson’s sister UNESCO City of Gastronomy, Ensenada, Mexico, with their special Ensenada menu, being served from October 4—November 14.
As with the switch to each menu in the Around the Globe series, Chef Janos Wilder is kicking things off with a cooking class and pop-up dinner at Carriage House. This time, award-winning Chef Diego Hernandez from Ensenada will join Wilder in creating an exceptional Friday night cooking and dining experience! Class begins at 5:30pm, during which Chef Hernandez will be sharing some of his “Baja California” signature recipes from his restaurant Corazon de Tierra in Guadalupe, named one of the top restaurants in Latin America.
The Ensenada cooking class will be followed by hors d’oeuvres and a five-course dinner with paired beverages. The menu is sure to be scrumptious and vibrant if past events are any indication of the kind of culinary magic that takes place at the Carriage House.
