Creamy Garlic Hummus
Tepary beans or other native dried beans
cooked* and rinsed
Fresh Lemon Juice
Freshly Ground Pepper
With the food processor running, drop each clove of garlic into the bowl of the food processor until it is minced. Turn off the food processor.
Add the beans, sea salt, tahini, lemon juice, water, and pepper to the bowl of the food processor. Process for 2-3 minutes, until the hummus is smooth and creamy.
Spoon the hummus into a serving bowl and top it with the olive oil and chopped parsley. Serve with veggies, chips, or bread.
