Ingredients
For Dough
For Dipping
Servings:
Instructions
  1. Mix shortening, brown sugar, egg, and molasses together thoroughly.
  2. Blend in remaining ingredients except granulated sugar.
  3. Cover, then chill for 1 hour.
  4. Heat oven to 375°F.
  5. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls, dip tops in granulated sugar.
  6. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or just until set.
  7. Immediately remove from baking sheet to cool.
