What: Stargazing and Wine at Flying Leap Vineyards
When: Saturday, September 10 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Where: Flying Leap Vineyards Winery in Elgin, AZ
How do you organize a fabulous stargazing and wine party?
Usually when you drink wine and see stars it means you’ve had too much. However, that won’t be the case this time around. Flying Leap Vineyards present: Stargazing and wine!
Get ready to have a galactic time as Chuck Dugan and Reid Susmark, two of Arizona’s finest amateur astronomers, guide you through space. View ethereal sky objects such as Jupiter, Venus, the Orion Nebulae, binary galaxies and more. And if you’re like me, who wears glasses and can’t imagine having to stargaze without the help of a powerful telescope, don’t worry – “Fay,” Chuck and Reid’s sixteen inch telescope, will be on hand, as well as an incredible eight inch star and planet gazer.
The cost for this event is $49.95, which includes two glasses of your choice of wine from the Flying Leap tasting bar, a beautiful take-home souvenir glass, a barrel sample of a future 2016 or 2017 release, tasty and hors d’oeurves treats, and a guided tour of the universe. There really isn’t anything that doesn’t sound appealing about this event.
While outer space might go on forever, spaces at this event are extremely limited, so purchase your tickets today. The cost is $49.95 per adult (children under 12 are free). Purchase your tickets here.
Once you’ve made your reservations, an email reminder will be sent to you with times and directions.
Hope to see you there!
