With great weather expected this weekend, why not take your family out for brunch at Reid Park on Sunday? Come eat some spectacular food while benefiting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson at the second annual Taste of Tucson. You’ll have the opportunity to savor dishes from many Tucson Originals Restaurants, listen to music, enter raffles and play different games and activities!
Taste of Tucson is a collaboration between Tucson Originals Restaurant and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson. Last year’s inaugural event was such a success that more restaurants have been added this year. Expect to see over 16 local restaurants, including Gourmet Girls Gluten Free Baker/Bistro, Fresco Pizzeria, and Kingfisher Bar and Grill.
Wash down the deliciousness with some lemonade from “Lemonade by Littles” to help further support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson. Make sure to bring some chairs/blankets/hammocks/pews/whatever it is you need for comfortable dining as provided seating will be limited.
Admission to this event is free, and food prices will be determined by the individual restaurant participants. Twenty-five percent of the event profits will go toward supporting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson’s youth mentoring programs. Oink Café, Pastiche|Food and Drink and Rocco’s Little Chicago are all newly confirmed as vendors. There should be something of interest for everyone – unless you hate food, in which case why are you reading such a delicious sounding post? RSVP on their Facebook event page here and stay tuned as more restaurants get added.
See you there!
