The Rincon Institute is gearing up to host their 14th Annual Roasted Chile Festival at the Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market on September 19, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Taking center stage are the freshly roasted green chiles themselves, but there are a number of additional attractions for the whole family to enjoy: locally grown, pesticide-free and organic fresh produce and fruit, artisan work, food, a beer garden, kid’s activities, and live music by John Grant & the Guilty Bystanders and Johnny Bencomo.
Located in the Rincon Valley, near Saguaro National Park and Colossal Cave Mountain Park, the annual Roasted Chile Festival allows attendees to enjoy live music while supporting a diverse range of artisans and farmers. Locally grown green chiles, including hatch and poblano chiles, will be for sale, along with a range of goods, from handmade quilts, aprons, and soap, to handcrafted home décor and fine furniture.
The Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market is a project of the Rincon Institute, a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to protecting the natural resources of the Rincon Mountain District of Saguaro National Park, the Rincon Valley, and the Cienega Corridor.
