Sonoran Shindig (Saturday, March 18): Gather at Ajo’s stunning downtown plaza to celebrate the official beginning of spring in the desert. Listen to live music, enjoy food from local vendors, and learn about conservation in the Sonoran Desert. Guests are encouraged to drive a few miles down the road to experience the incredible wildflower bloom at Organ Pipe National Monument.
Spring Artisans Market (March 17-19): Spend one, two, or three days browsing the work of local artisans, sipping beer, wine, and mimosas, and enjoying the historic courtyards at the Tucson Museum of Art. You’ll be sure to enjoy the warm weather and leave with a beautiful new piece of pottery or artwork.

Miniature Pallet Garden Class (March 18): Have you seen those beautiful and space-efficient pallet gardens on the Internet? Well, now you can learn how to make one for your own home! This workshop will cover the how-to’s of building and caring for a pallet garden. The workshop is free, but supplies for the pallets must be purchased.
