Remember the field trips you used to take in school? Perhaps you visited the zoo or a museum or even the pumpkin patch like I did. And though these field trips were something out of the ordinary and likely got you out of classes all day, they’re nothing compared to this weekend’s adult field trip through Tucson’s Westside Brew House District.

If you’re not aware, West of I-10 on Grant has become a happenin’ spot for breweries and distilleries and where there’s brews and booze, there’s a delicious food truck nearby.

For $15 this weekend you’ll have the distinct pleasure of sampling a drink at Dragoon Brewing Co..,  Whiskey Del Bac by Hamilton Distillers, and 1912 Brewing Co.

And because all field trips had an itinerary, here’s yours:

1) Go to Dragoon Brewing Co. at 5:00pm to get your stamp and your first beer. Enjoy food from Mr. Cookman’s Food Truck.

2) At 6:00pm will venture down to Hamilton Distillers where they make Whiskey Del Bac, where you present your stamp to receive a pour of whiskey. Enjoy it with something sweet from Genuine Creamery & Doughnuts who will be in the tasting room.

3) At 7:00pm go across the street to 1912 Brewing Co where you will present your stamp to receive another beer. There will be live music. End your evening here or go back to your favorite stop of the night – please get there responsibly.

You are responsible for your own transportation to each location. They are close enough to walk to but you’re highly encouraged to have a designated driver and drink responsibly. If you don’t purchase a ticket online (which you can do here) you can still show up at Dragoon’s taproom to buy a stamp to join the fun!
