Living in Tucson, it’s likely that you have seen a Palo Verde tree … or seventy. This green-barked desert tree provides food for pollinators, animals, and people. Learn how to create desert delicacies from Palo Verde beans and fresh cactus pads in this hands-on workshop. Explore recipes and tips to create your own specialties.
Workshop includes discussion & resources to grow Sonoran Desert foodscapes in your yard & neighborhood. This workshop is perfect for anyone like me who has a black thumb and can’t keep anything other than desert plants alive.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll feast on Palo Verde recipes, along with nopalitos, herbs, and other desert ingredients! The desert will be your dessert!
To register please email firstname.lastname@example.org and include “Palo Verde Workshop 5/13/17” in the subject.
See you there!
